3G Broadband USB Modems

The Vodafone Mobile Connect USB Modem is a brand new way of accessing broadband internet on the move.

This USB modem is HSDPA/UMTS and tri-band EDGE/GPRS, and allows for 3G broadband connections. It plugs into a standard USB port of any laptop or PC. Like the Mobile Connect Data cards, it is in essence a phone designed for data connections and therefore requires a SIM card connected to the Vodafone network and provisioned with the relevant Access Point Name (APN).
The modem utilises either the 3G broadband (HSPDA), 3G (UMTS) or GPRS network depending upon the network availability in your area. The Mobile Connect software (dashboard) is required to run the device. For Windows users it has a revolutionary Vodafone dashboard built-in, which runs automatically when the modem is plugged into a Windows PC. Mac users must load the dashboard in the same way as for data cards.
